by Kris on December 17, 2009

Through a collaborative effort between Renae of Two Scoops Rice Designs and Debbie of Too Cute Embroidery, comes an adorable set of in-the-hoop “pocket pals” now available at SWAKembroidery.com! These designs can be yours for FREE as we invite you to make and send these cheerful little animals to the brave men and women serving their countries in the military. It is just one small way of letting them know we are thinking of them and to bring a smile to their faces. Please join us in creating something special!

Where do we send these? The address included in the file is a request for greeting cards.

What a wonderful idea! I’m putting these on my to-do list right now and if my machine will play nice tonight I’ll try to get a few done. Yesterday it wouldn’t play with me.

Hi Elaine!

Thank you for asking about where to send these. They can be sent to the same address as is in the file for where to send the cards to. Debbie has told me that those working there will make sure they get to the men and women serving. Thank you so much to all of you who will be a part of this!

If those of you without embroidery machines would like to make these, I could send you a pattern. You could stitch the eyes and whiskers on for the animals and use felt applique. If there is interest, I will help make it happen. Just let me know!

Debbie I would be interested in a pattern for these. I don’t have an embroidery machine (yet). I’m quite sure there are others who would be interested as well.

Debbie, I would love a pattern for these. This is a fantastic idea. I’ll do my best to get a set done to send. Where do I find the address to send them in? Thanks. Sue

I love this idea! I was also thinking of making some and sending them to Children’s hospitals such as St. Judes or the Ronald McDonald House. I think these little guys would make children going through rough medical treatments smile.
