1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m an Analyst Programmer by career, crafter, designer, wife, mother and passionate about sewing! I have been crafting as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent a lot of time designing, painting, and making all crafts in general. I grew up watching my mother sew, as a teenager, I would design dresses and she would create them. But it was when my daughter was born, in 2008 that I learned to sew and started to design clothing for kids. I’ve been loving every moment of this journey, it was a great joy to discover what I really wanted to do with my life!

2. What are your favorite projects to design?
Dresses, specially vintage style dresses.

3. What is your favorite thing you have made for yourself? For someone else?
I don’t sew much for myself, but my favorite project is the vintage inspired Juliette’s dress for girls from 2 to 10 years.

4. What is your favorite season/holiday to decorate for?
Definitely Christmas! I love the colors, the lights and the joy of getting ready for the Christmas holidays.

5. What DIY tips or tricks would you like to share with customers?
This is not a tip but an advice. Whenever you are afraid of certain sewing notions, such as buttonholes, zippers, etc, do not avoid projects that require those notions, take the challenge and try it over and over again until you nailed it, if someone else can do it, you can do it too!

6. Any other interests or hobbies?
Crafts in general. I enjoy making cards, hair clips, painting. And I love doing party decorations, I actually design for my own brand of printable party supplies www.printyourfiesta.com.

7. Do you have a favorite quote?
You can do anything is you really want to.
